During my recent romantic escape to Birmingham, I chose to stay at the Hotel at Conference Aston, situated within the peaceful surroundings of the Aston University campus. Upon entering, I was pleasantly surprised by the stylish new minimalist bedrooms, which were both spacious and adorned with tasteful decor, providing a perfect blend of comfort and modernity. The highlights included a luxurious double bed, a clean and well-equipped en suite bathroom, and a delightful view of the tranquil courtyard—an oasis amidst the bustling city. While the location of the hotel made it easy to explore Birmingham's vibrant life, accessing nearby attractions like the famed Bullring shopping centre was just a leisurely stroll away. Though I encountered a few minor annoyances, such as corridor noise that might disturb light sleepers, I could easily overlook them due to the overall ambience of the hotel. Whether you're here for business or leisure, Hotel at Conference Aston serves as a serene refuge, complemented by excellent local produce available in the main restaurant and the friendly demeanor of the front desk staff. It's an invitation back to Birmingham that I happily accept.
